How to Play the 2011 Contest!

 

The Stock Market Investment Challenge, is a contest that allows you to play the Stock Market with Fantasy Money. We give you $100,000.00 of Fantasy dollars and ask you to invest it in 8 stocks from the Toronto Stock Exchange, NYSE, and NASDAQ. By investing this $100,000.00, you have the opportunity to use your research and strategies to maximize the profit and earning from your investments. You have no risk....it's all FANTASY MONEY! Whether the stock is in Canadian currency or US Currency, it does not matter, it us just Fantasy Money, so there is no conversion from US to Canadian Funds or vice versa.

 

The Specifics of your investments are as follows: You must select One (1) Stock choice from EACH of the Eight (8) groups we identify on the entry form. Once you have made your selections, we will ask you to determine how much of your $100,000.00 you want to invest in each stock. You can allocate between $1000.00 and $30,000.00 in each group (in multiples of a $1000.00). Your Total investment can only be $100,000.00, so you must be sure to allocate your split of the money to equal the final total, or your entry will be ruled null and void. You now fill in your contact information and then decide if you want to have online access to your daily rankings and extended trade applications. All entries will have online access to view their portfolio selections, and all entries will have access to 3 trades, but if you choose the EXTRA Service Package (Broker Package), you will get an extra allocation of initial trades (25 to begin with), and you will have daily access to your rank and other services offered by our website. FREE entries do not have this full access option.

The registration deadline is Midnight (Pacific Time), Friday February 25th, 2011. We will use the Closing Price of each stock on Friday February 25th, 2011 and calculate the number of shares of each stock in each group your allotment will purchase. You will then hold these shares without change till Wednesday March 30th, 2011 (a timeframe implemented to accommodate the mailed in entry process for this contest), at which point you may begin trading stocks.
